John Lowe is a retired British professional darts player. He was born on 21 July 1945 in New Tupton, Derbyshire, England.
He is currently one of six players, and the first one at that, to win the World Championship three times (1979 / 1987 / 1993). He was a prominent player in the 1970s and 1980s, and was the first to make a nine-dart finish back in 1984, which is considered the most difficult feat to achieve in the sport.
